Summary

Jharokha Backup is a single-user application. It has no users other than its owner, collects no personal information from anyone, and sends no data to any third party.

Google user data the application accesses

The application requests exactly one Google API scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. This grants access only to files the application itself creates in the owner’s Google Drive. It cannot list, read, modify or delete any other file in that Drive account, and no other scope is requested.

How that access is used

The application writes backup archives of the owner’s own files into a folder in the owner’s Google Drive, and reads those same archives back when a restore is performed. That is the complete use of Google user data.

Sharing, selling and tracking

Nothing is shared with any third party. Nothing is sold. No advertising, analytics, tracking, profiling or automated decision-making is performed. The application runs on the owner’s own computer; there is no server and no other party with access.

Retention and revocation

Backup archives remain in the owner’s Google Drive until the owner deletes them. Access can be withdrawn at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, after which the application can no longer read or write any file.

Limited Use

Jharokha Backup’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes

If the application’s handling of Google user data changes, this policy is updated before that change takes effect.
